What PrepDesk does

PrepDesk reads the documents your firm uploads and prepares workpapers for your review. Every figure shows the document and page it came from, or a written reason.

PrepDesk prepares; your firm decides. Your registered tax agent reviews, decides and lodges. PrepDesk does not give tax advice, and does not lodge anything with the ATO.

Your responsibilities

You review every workpaper before relying on it, and you are responsible for your clients’ returns and for your obligations under the Tax Agent Services Act and the Code of Professional Conduct.

You keep your logins to yourselves, use two-step verification, and only upload documents you are entitled to give us.

Drafts

Anything exported before a person has signed it off is marked “DRAFT, NOT REVIEWED”. Figures are suggestions until a person reviews them.

Plans, trial and cancelling

Month to month, no contract. The free trial lasts 7 days or 5 workpapers, whichever comes first, and needs a card or direct debit; the plan you choose is billed automatically when it ends unless you change or cancel it first. One trial per firm.

You can cancel at any time. Access continues to the end of the paid month; then you have 30 days to export everything, after which we permanently delete your firm’s data and confirm it in writing.
